Thank you for visiting our website. I want to take this opportunity to welcome all of our families new and returning to Emerson for the 2010-2011 school year. Emerson Middle School has many opportunities for both students and parents to be involved.

For students there are programs for music, drama, computers, leadership and journalism as well as enrichment classes including foreign language, cooking and athletics. For our adult community members there are our governance councils, School Based Management and School Site Council and advisory councils for the Title 1 and English Learner programs. Emerson has strong parent involvement through our PTSA, hospitality and school site support and our Foundation that is responsible for fundraising. We welcome volunteers at Emerson, and look forward to parental visits when ever their schedule allows. Parent involvement is critical for student success and always strongly encouraged.
